Major North Idaho river in Boundary County, Libby Dam tailwater canyon floats (Leonia to Bonners Ferry) and the free-flowing reach north to the Canadian border at Porthill. Primarily a drift-boat fishery with limited bank access. Nutrient enhancement and instream habitat work have improved trout and whitefish populations. IDFG special rules: trout limit 2, no Rainbow or Cutthroat Trout under 16 inches; sturgeon fishing illegal.
