Conditions

Silver Creek enters fall with stable flows around 75 cfs and water temperatures at 56 degrees, ideal for autumn dry fly fishing. Brown trout are in spawning mode, so exercise care around redds and favor catch-and-release. Expect late morning Tricos, Baetis, and Callibaetis, with afternoon activity from Mahogany Duns, October Caddis, and terrestrials. Note that Kilpatrick Bridge and east-side Preserve access, including float tube use and recreational floating, remain closed through January 4, 2027. Contact Blaine County or Silver Creek Alliance for current access details.
