The creek is warming up but there is still good fishing to be found. The Drakes have come and gone, PMDs and Callibaetis are tapering off, and tricos, midges, caddis, and terrestrials are running the show right now.
Conditions
Silver Creek is fishing well despite warming temperatures. Fish are technical and require long leaders, but dry fly and streamer patterns are both producing. Drakes have finished their run. Tricos, midges, caddis, and terrestrials are now dominant, with PMDs and Callibaetis still present but tapering. As of July 8, flows were running at 103 cfs at the Sportsman Access gauge.
