As of August 7, flows sit stable and well below normal at 336 cfs, offering good fishing along pullouts and tributary hike-in water alike. Golden stones, yellow sallies, hoppers, PMDs, ants, beetles, caddis, and blue wing olives are active. Excellent public access and abundant tributary hike-in water make this North Idaho classic 40 minutes from Coeur d'Alene, fish early and keep it to catch-and-release for native Westslope Cutthroat.
