Hatch Status

Fall Baetis and Mahogany duns will be the main fare. Hatch occurs between 10 am and 2 pm.

Conditions

Silver Creek is running low and clear heading into early October, with water holding at 55 degrees as of September 29. Pre-spawn browns are becoming aggressive while others hold on redds, making it a good time to focus on actively feeding fish. Baetis and Mahogany duns should peak between 10 am and 2 pm, with October Caddis and Callibaetis also present. Note that Kilpatrick Bridge and Preserve east side access remain closed through January 4 for construction and dredging; contact Blaine County or the Silver Creek Alliance for details.

Gauges

Techniques
