Conditions

The Saint Joe is running low but stable at 390 cfs as of October 16, staying fairly level throughout the week. Water temperatures are in the low to mid 40s, so focus your effort on deeper pools and shaded banks where trout are holding. Nymphing and dry-dropper rigs are becoming more consistent, especially during warmer afternoon windows when blue-wing olive activity picks up. Expect mahogany duns, small fall tan caddis, midges, and October caddis throughout the day.
