Saint Joe River

Stellar fishing is on with excellent fall hatches bringing selective trout to the surface. Lower water makes location critical, so focus on deeper runs, shaded banks, pocket water, and current seams where faster flows dump into deeper holds. Mahogany duns, fall BWOs, and October caddis are active, along with smaller mayflies and caddis throughout the system. Consider thorax duns, cripple emergers, dry-dropper combinations, and smaller streamers in tan, brown, and olive to match what fish are taking.
