Conditions

Clear water and improving flows are opening up better wading on the flatwater sections. Watch for overnight thunderstorms that may temporarily add color, but conditions should improve after 11 AM. Start the morning with small Blue-Winged Olives and PMD nymphs, then switch to ant and hopper patterns from late morning into afternoon; evening caddis can finish the day. Use a long, fine leader (6X minimum on flats) and approach rising fish from downstream.
