Terrestrials—ants and hoppers—stay active from mid-morning into late afternoon, with light evening Baetis and Caddis activity rounding out the day. As of August 26, flows were running at 1,300 cfs near Ashton with clear skies and stable conditions; consider working seams and skinny water in the meadow sections by positioning downstream of rising fish and casting upstream.
