October Caddis hatches dissipating, fall Caddis and BWO's getting fish to surface
Conditions
The Spokane River is fishing well as October transitions into fall. October caddis hatches are fading, but fall caddis and BWOs are bringing fish to the surface. As caddis activity diminishes, perdigon-style nymphs become more critical to success. Flows were stable near 1,140 cfs at Post Falls as of October 18, providing good conditions to work both the surface and subsurface.
