Callibaetis still around in the afternoon

Conditions

Morning activity will slow early in the week, but mid-day through afternoon should bring solid Callibaetis and terrestrial action, with October Caddis and Baetis mixed in. As of September 16, flows were 76 cfs and water temperature held at 56°F, prime conditions for fall fishing. Cool mornings (lows around 42°F) and pleasant afternoons (highs near 64°F) will keep the creek in good shape through the outlook window. Note that Kilpatrick Bridge is closed through January 4, 2027, affecting float tube access and parking in that area.
