Conditions

Cooler fall weather has opened up the whole Saint Joe to solid fishing. Fish have spread back out across the entire river after concentrating in summer, and as of September 23, flows were 419 CFS and dropping. That falling flow window can be a prime time as fish relocate into newly fishable water. Expect excellent afternoon dry fly action with October Caddis, spruce moths, BWOs, mahoganies, PMDs, and terrestrials on the water.
