Mahogany duns and October caddis out and that should increase over the next few weeks
Conditions
The Saint Joe is fishing well as summer transitions to fall, with productive patterns on both upper and lower sections. Caddis, ants, beetles, and hoppers remain solid choices, while October caddis and mahogany duns are appearing as water cools. As of September 25, flows were running 436 cfs at the Ramsdell gauge near St. Maries, holding stable with overcast skies and light precipitation forecast. Fish should stay active until water temperatures drop significantly.

Techniques
- Lighter tippet recommended
- Summer patterns like hoppers, ants, beetles, and caddis have still been producing, though smaller the better most days
