Smaller fall caddis and October Caddis are both good bets
Conditions
Stable fall weather is holding on the North Fork, with flows trending downward. As of September 25, the river was running 221 cfs at Enaville, well below normal for the season. Caddis and terrestrials dominate the menu right now, with October Caddis and Mahogany Duns worth trying as mayfly activity eases into autumn. Light winds and clear skies should make for pleasant days on the water.

Techniques
- Smaller ant patterns have been killer lately
- Longer, lighter leaders and downsizing flies good when fishing to risers in slower water and tailouts
