Conditions

Mountain View Lake is now open for the season with consistent fishing and improving conditions as summer progresses. Fish are suspended and actively feeding. Damselfly nymphs show particular promise, and leeches in various patterns continue to be reliable. A mix of chironomids, woolly buggers, and popcorn beetles rounds out effective options.
