Conditions

As of October 4, flows have dropped to 159 cfs and stabilized, opening fresh water and moving fish into newly fishable pocket water while exposing weed beds in shallower sections. Some turbidity from Island Park Reservoir persists. Blue Wing Olives dominate the hatch, joined by Mahogany duns and tiny Pseudocloeon. Deeper channels and structure hold the steadiest fish, so focus your effort where water runs deepest rather than spreads thin over exposed beds.
