Conditions
Water temperatures in the low 70s are the main challenge right now, making early morning and evening the prime windows. Flows are holding stable around 970–1050 cfs, which is normal and improving wading access. PMDs and caddis remain active throughout the day, while hoppers, ants, and beetles are picking up—and fish are stacking near cold springs where they can find relief from the heat. Shade and deeper pools downstream become increasingly important as afternoon heating sets in.
