Evenings are still producing PMD's and BWO's, with some Caddis mixed in, mostly smaller fish rising.
Conditions
Water temperatures have dominated conditions here, with nighttime lows around 61.5°F and daytime highs pushing 68.5°F, afternoon heat shuts down feeding, so plan on morning sessions before crowds build during floating season. As of September 4, flows were running 739 cfs and stable, allowing you to work standard nymph and streamer tactics near structure. Expect PMD's, BWO's, and smaller Caddis in the evenings when temperatures cool. Overcast skies and rising pressure should keep conditions manageable if you time it right.

Techniques
- Morning fishing is the way to go as afternoon water temps has practically shut the feeding down.
- Heavy nymphs, some dries during the early morning and late evening hours.
- Heavy, attractor nymphs are still the way to go.
- Streamers can produce fish on cutbanks and near structure, especially on cloudy and overcast days when pressure is lower and temps are cooler.
