Conditions

Below town is fishing well as temperatures cool into fall. Sullivan sections hold pockets of water worth exploring, though conditions are slow. Upper valley flows are climbing as dry reaches continue to recover. Caddis and pseudo-baetis are active, with small BWOs showing on cooler days. As of September 12, flows were running 859 cfs near Post Falls and rising, with overcast skies and mild temperatures favoring subsurface work.
