South Fork Snake River

Fall conditions are settling in across the South Fork with cooler temperatures and partly cloudy skies through the weekend. The upper river near Palisades shows slight turbidity from dam releases while the lower section runs clearer. Streamer fishing works well in the slightly green upper water, and Blue Winged Olive and Mahogany Dun hatches are active during the cooler, cloudier days.
