Conditions
The South Fork is continuing to produce solid fishing despite recent higher water. As of September 4, flows at Lorenzo were 3,590 CFS and falling, which is opening a good window for adjusted tactics. Small dries work in the riffles, but nymphing remains the most consistent approach—consider heavier line and bigger attractors near the edges as water continues to settle. Gravel bars hold steady concentrations of fish, and clear skies should help visibility.

Techniques
- Heavy beadhead nymphs and stonefly patterns work best recently.
- Fish small dries in the riffles: Mahogany Duns and BWOs.
