Flow has dropped significantly and transformed the fishing for the better. Fish are chasing stonefly imitations early in the day, then eating dry-dropper rigs with rubber legs most afternoons as the mutant stonefly hatch stays strong. As of August 15, flows at Lorenzo were running 8,400 CFS on the live gauge and rising. Consider working soft edges and banks from a distance with heavier tippet and weighted bugs in current conditions.
