Conditions
Lower water is concentrating fish into deeper pockets and around cover, making pool heads, seams, and larger rocks prime holding spots. As of October 3, flows were running 393 cfs near Lowell and holding in normal range with a falling trend. Fish smaller mayflies and caddis along with nymphs and small streamers, paying extra attention to stealth in the clear conditions.
