Henrys Fork of the Snake River, Riverside to Mouth

The lower Henrys Fork is shaping up well for hopper season. As of August 26, flows were running 1450 cfs—down from 1770 cfs reported in late July—and holding stable with clear skies and rising pressure. Water temps are climbing, so plan to fish early morning or evening to avoid midday heat. Hoppers, caddis, and PMD activity all merit attention on the water.
