The South Fork is running above normal with stable flows and partly cloudy skies—a solid window before it settles further into fall. Mutant Stoneflies (nocturnal goldens) are starting to emerge as the big stonefly season winds down, and PMD patterns remain productive. Current is substantial at this stage, so pick your water carefully and fish deliberately.
