Conditions
Lower water on the Selway makes the river easier to cover while concentrating fish in deeper pockets and runs. As of October 3, flows were holding steady at 540 cfs near Lowell. Blue-wing olives are becoming increasingly important as fall progresses. Dry-dropper setups excel in these conditions, and smaller attractors, caddis, and mayfly patterns all have their moments.
