Henrys Fork of the Snake River, Riverside to Ashton Reservoir Dam

As of August 15, flows were holding around 1,630 CFS with stable conditions near Ashton. Water temperatures are warm, making early morning the prime window before heat shuts down activity in the afternoon. Hatch numbers have thinned—small stoneflies and caddis are sparse—so pivot to grasshoppers, streamers, and rubberlegs to draw strikes.
