BlueLineCo. is a fly-fishing brand built by anglers who couldn’t find the flies they needed - so they made them. Founded in 2017 by childhood friends from northern Alabama, the company makes high-quality, hand-tied flies for bass, trout, carp, bream, and redfish. With a commitment to performance, each fly goes through rigorous design and testing: founder Adam Hudson says patterns are only released after years of real-world use. BlueLineCo. serves anglers directly online - no traditional fly shop gates, so they stay focused on delivering functional patterns at a fair price.

Adam grew up in Alabama, where he learned to fly fish in a way most people don’t—by chasing smallmouth bass instead of trout. He lived far from any fly shop, so he couldn’t just grab new gear whenever he needed it. Instead of relying on the limited flies he could buy, he started designing and tying his own at home. With his friend Stephen, he created the patterns that eventually became the first Blue Line Co. flies. Today, many of the company’s best-known patterns are his inventions.
