Trinity River fishing report

Fall colors frame low, clear water and cool weather that keep steelhead moving through the Trinity. Peak season runs October through November as fish return strong from the Pacific. As of October 29, flows were stable at 613 cfs and water temperature sat at 54 degrees, conditions that favor standard tactics. Good fishing has been reported with occasional fair days, but be ready to sit out a day or two if heavy rains spike the flow.
