How to tie it
Step 1: Double about three feet of line into a long loop and spin the loop end twenty times so the two strands twist together.
Step 2: Spread the loop over your knee or a foot and pull the two ends apart to pack the twists tight.
Step 3: Keeping tension on the standing line, ease the tag toward a right angle so it rolls down over the twists in a smooth layer.
Step 4: When the tag reaches the throat of the loop, lock it with a half hitch around one leg of the loop.
Step 5: Finish with three to five half hitches around both legs, pull them down snug and trim the tag.
