As a certified interpretive guide through the National Association of Interpreters, he shares his expertise in ornithology, botany, and astronomy with guests through engaging talks during river trips. Beyond his guiding work, Tyler brings his extensive experience with youth to the river—he holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and works as a 5th-grade teacher in Salt Lake City, while also serving as a ski coach for the Snowbird Race Team. Known for his warm sense of humor and natural rapport with children, Tyler enjoys spending time outdoors with his family through hiking, biking, and camping adventures.
