Todd Michael Allen grew up in Nampa, Idaho, where his father introduced him to fishing on southwestern Idaho's lakes, rivers, and creeks around age twelve. After earning his degree from the University of Idaho, he began guiding professionally in 1996, working in Alaska and Chile before joining Three Rivers Ranch in 2002—a position he has maintained because of the region's natural beauty and exceptional fishing diversity. Beyond his extensive experience on Idaho waters, Todd has pursued fishing opportunities internationally, including peacock bass expeditions on the Amazon drainage in Brazil. He resides in Ashton, Idaho with his family and balances his guiding work with interests in bird hunting and golf.
