Timothy S Mason brings a distinctive blend of experience and warmth to his work as a guide with Canyons River Company. Born and raised in Chile and fluent in both Spanish and English, Tim discovered river guiding in 1980 through the Nantahala Outdoor Center, where he worked for two decades before joining Canyons following a memorable 1994 trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon. With a degree in Architecture from the University of Utah, he applies both his technical expertise and playful spirit to create memorable experiences on Idaho's rivers. When not guiding, Tim resides in North Carolina with his wife Amy, where he continues his passion for designing and building custom homes.
