Rich Coe brings decades of expertise to the Clearwater River as one of its most accomplished fishing guides. Growing up in Boise with a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing—beginning with bird hunting at age twelve and fly-fishing shortly thereafter on the Boise River and Silver Creek—he built a foundation of skills that has defined his career. After studying at Montana State University in Bozeman, he launched his guiding work at twenty, first on Colorado's Roaring Eagle River before spending several years on the Yellowstone and Madison Rivers in the Bozeman area. Since joining Flying B Ranch in 1997, Rich has guided both fishing and hunting expeditions on land and water, while also training bird dogs and leading wingshooters. His reputation and dedication have earned him many returning clients who specifically request his services. He resides along the Clearwater River near Kooskia with his daughter Madison and his team of bird dogs.
