Richard T Mullen, known as Skip, grew up throughout the greater Northwest and developed a deep passion for fly fishing and outdoor recreation, beginning his angling education from early childhood under the guidance of his grandfather and mother. Since joining Three Rivers Ranch in 1996, he has dedicated the majority of his life to fishing, teaching, and guiding on the water, building meaningful relationships with clients and the Three Rivers community that have defined his career. During the ranch's off-season over the past two decades, Skip has been instrumental in pioneering fly fishing development in the Aysen Region of Chilean Patagonia, where he and his partners have designed innovative fisheries, established two fly fishing lodges including Dragon Fly Lodge and Tomango Lodge, and engineered specialized hybrid boats that provide anglers access to remote river and lake waters unavailable through most other outfitters.
