Mark Stoeckl relocated from the Adirondack Mountains to McCall, where he developed a deep passion for mountain sports and outdoor guidance. His professional background includes several years at Brundage Mountain, where he taught skiing lessons, maintained equipment, and worked in marketing before transitioning to rock climbing instruction with Idaho Mountain Guides during the warmer season. He remains actively involved in the local mountain community as a coach for the McCall Winter Sports Club Backcountry Team and as a guide with Payette Powder Guides during winter months. Beyond guiding, he pursues photography and videography through his work with Payette Media Productions and enjoys music, building projects, and time with friends and family. His favorite ski descents include the Middle Teton Glacier, Nick Peak, Monument Peak, Mt. Adams, and Tuckerman's Ravine.
