As managing partner, she is proud to help carry forward a family outfitting tradition that began in 1922. She grew up on the banks of Oregon’s McKenzie River and has spent her life on Northwest rivers, learning the business from the ground up both on the water and behind the scenes. She took her first Middle Fork of the Salmon trip at age 2, her first Main Salmon overnight trip at age 5, and spent her childhood summers working alongside her dad on McKenzie River trips. By age 12, she was running her own raft on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River, followed soon after by the Main Salmon Canyon and Middle Fork of the Salmon. At 16, she earned her first Oregon guide’s license and began guiding paddle raft trips on the Upper McKenzie. Her lifelong experience as a guide and outfitter gives her a deep respect for the rivers, the fishery, and the guests who come to experience them. Whether running boats, supporting the guide crew, or helping plan trips, she is passionate about creating safe, memorable days on the water and sharing the beauty of the Northwest’s rivers with every guest.
