About Joseph Weisner

Joseph Weisner's lifelong passion for fishing has taken him across North America pursuing trophy species including marlin, tuna, brown trout, tiger trout, tiger muskie, muskellunge, northern pike, and lake trout. Over the past six years, he has specialized in targeting giant white sturgeon, landing hundreds of fish including several exceeding nine feet in length. His dedication to tiger muskie spans nearly a decade, during which he has caught more trophy specimens than most anglers, including one of the largest verified tigers ever recorded at 52 inches. Weisner is equally devoted to western brown trout, earning recognition on the brown baggers list with multiple fish exceeding ten pounds. Beyond his own angling accomplishments, he has spent the last ten years contributing significantly to Utah's tiger muskie program through collaboration with the Department of Wildlife Resources, serving as a member of the tiger muskie management team and as vice president of Mountain West Muskie chapter 65. His true calling is guiding anglers of all skill levels toward their most memorable catches, combining extensive expertise with a genuine enthusiasm for helping both newcomers and experienced fishermen achieve their fishing dreams.
