Jonas Seiler is a guide and winter yurt manager who grew up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and spent summers near Copenhagen, Denmark, developing an early passion for fishing, boating, and skiing. After earning a degree in Natural Resource Recreation & Tourism from Colorado State University in 2014, where he began his guiding career on the Cache La Poudre River, he relocated to Idaho in 2016 and has since made the state his home. His commitment to Idaho's rivers extends beyond guiding—he has worked with the Idaho Conservation League on restoration efforts for salmon and steelhead populations. Since joining the team in 2020, Jonas guides on the Middle Fork Salmon, Main Salmon, and Canyons of the Salmon, where he enjoys fly-fishing, paddle boating, and sharing stories with clients, occasionally offering Danish language lessons along the way.
