Jasmine Madeyski has spent the past decade pursuing her passion for river guiding across multiple continents, having worked professionally on sixteen river sections in Chile and ten in the United States. Drawing on her diverse outdoor background—from horse camp counseling in her native San Diego to teen leadership sailing expeditions in the San Juan Islands—she discovered whitewater guiding near Boise and went on to instruct courses with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Her approach to guiding centers on building genuine connections with participants and creating safe, comfortable experiences in wilderness settings, while fostering a commitment to environmental stewardship and conservation action. Beyond the river season, Jasmine works as a ski instructor during winter months and is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work, with aspirations to work in immigration advocacy, patient advocacy, and individual therapy.
