Hatcher Edmondson grew up in Nederland, Colorado, surrounded by the towering forests and cold rivers of the Rocky Mountains, a landscape that shaped his lifelong passion for outdoor adventure. Drawing inspiration from his Idaho-native mother and experienced raft guide father, he has pursued adventures ranging from rafting the Río Baker in Chile to serving as an intern ranger in Denali National Park, and has developed a deep love for the clear waters and pristine beauty of Idaho's Main and Middle Fork of the Salmon River and the River of No Return. An accomplished outdoorsman who enjoys kayaking, skiing, and mountain biking, Hatcher brings enthusiasm and respect for wild places to his work as an aspiring guide with Canyons River Company, where he continues to explore the magnificent waterways that captivate him most. When not on the water or trails, he can be found immersed in literature or planning his next adventure with his loyal Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Boone.
