Faye brings decades of outdoor education expertise to her guiding work, having designed and taught backpacking courses in Australia before spending many years with Outboard Bound. Her love of Western geography drew her to the Colorado River, where she began guiding in 1999 and continues to lead trips annually. She joined Canyons River Company in 2014 after reconnecting with owner Greg in the Grand Canyon, and now guides in Central Idaho. Beyond her river work, Faye has experience as a Nordic ski instructor in Park City and spent years in remote Australia collaborating with her husband on cultural and ethnobotanical publications. She is drawn to wild places and the way rivers connect people to both the landscape and themselves.
