Elle Olsztyn guides whitewater trips for Canyons River Company, drawing on her background as both an artist and educator. Having taught across Southern Africa, India, and Latin America, she brings a philosophy centered on learning through enjoyment to her time on the water. As a whitewater kayaker, Elle specializes in drop-in techniques and uses movement and music to help guests release mental clutter and connect with the canyon's energy. Whether sharing her knowledge of wild medicinals or playing the handpan, she creates moments where curiosity and human connection flourish, inviting paddlers to recognize themselves as integral parts of the living landscape rather than mere visitors to it.
