Ella guides with Yellow Jacket River Guides after developing a deep connection to Idaho's mountains and rivers following her family's move to the state in 2011. Her passion for outdoor education was shaped by her college experience at Westminster College, where she earned a degree in communication and outdoor education, alongside coursework in outdoor leadership during studies in South America. She brings professional guiding experience from leading adventure trips in Spain and Morocco and spent a season as a day guide on Oregon's Deschutes River before returning to Idaho. When not on the water, Ella resides in Bellingham, Washington, where she continues to embrace the Pacific Northwest's outdoor lifestyle.
