Colin is a Colorado native who discovered his passion for river guiding after first experiencing the Middle Fork and Main Salmon rivers as a guest. He has become deeply connected to the Frank Church Wilderness, which now serves as his spiritual home during summer months. Beyond his work as a river guide, Colin brings valuable emergency response expertise as a current Nationally Registered EMT and former volunteer structural firefighter, along with seasonal experience in wildland firefighting. During winter, he transitions to backcountry skiing in Colorado, drawing on a lifelong passion for skiing that began in his childhood racing days and has taken him across the globe. When not on rivers or mountains, Colin enjoys cooking, traveling internationally, and spending time with friends beneath the stars.
