Clifford T Weisse discovered his passion for fly fishing at age twelve while growing up in Bergenfield, New Jersey, where he fished local waters including the Beaverkill and Delaware rivers. He became a guide in 1987 and joined Three Rivers Ranch in 1988, where he has built a career around the principle that extended trips allow him to focus on client development rather than rushed catches. He values the opportunity to teach anglers new skills while enjoying the full river experience, including wildlife observation and entomological learning. Based in Island Park, Idaho with his wife Lisa, Clifford raises English Setters and pursues hunting expeditions each fall, bringing a well-rounded outdoor perspective to his guiding philosophy.
