As a Rogue River guide, she draws on extensive experience leading outdoor programs including canoeing, backpacking, climbing, and caving during her college years, followed by work as a day guide on the Colorado River near Moab and as a high ropes course facilitator. Holding certifications as a Wilderness First Responder, CPR provider, Whitewater Rescue Technician Instructor, and IRF Trip Leader Level 3, along with a B.A. in International Studies and English from Hollins University, Claire creates a welcoming and empathetic experience for guests while fostering community and meaningful connections. Born in Lewiston, Idaho, she is committed to increasing visibility of queer professionals in outdoor spaces and works toward her goal of becoming an educator in this field.
