Charlie grew up in the Wasatch mountains near Salt Lake City, Utah, where she developed a lifelong passion for outdoor pursuits including skiing, mountain biking, and rock climbing. She studied Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Oregon before discovering river guiding while working at a bakery in Stanley, Idaho, beginning her guiding career in 2020. Charlie joined Yellow Jacket River Guides in 2023 and has embraced the company's philosophy of delivering exceptional wilderness experiences for guests. When not on the water, she enjoys running, biking, and skiing in the Tetons from her home in Driggs, Idaho.
