Anne Deangelo brings a passion for adventure in all its forms to her work as a river guide. Having grown up on the Atlantic coast, she initially missed the water sports of her youth when relocating to Idaho, but discovered her true calling in whitewater after her first descent of the Main Salmon in 2013. With a background in education—including classroom teaching and work as an outdoor educator for National Geographic and the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS)—Anne combines technical expertise with a genuine commitment to helping others develop outdoor skills and foster a lifelong connection to nature. Based in Ketchum, Idaho, she approaches each trip with enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit, whether guiding whitewater expeditions, backpacking adventures, or other outdoor pursuits.
