Adam Michael Bass grew up along the Boise River near Glenwood Bridge and the New Dry Creek Diversion, developing a lifelong passion for whitewater paddling. His experience extends beyond his home river to kayaking and rafting throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Grand Canyon, and Costa Rica, as well as international guiding work with the Cairns Adventure Group in Australia. Beyond his role with Boise River Outdoor Opportunities, Adam has participated in private multi-day expeditions and volunteer work with the Boise River Enhancement Network, and serves as Secretary General for the International Rafting Federation. As a designated agent for BROO, he is committed to enhancing guest experiences through social equity, sustainable operations, and expanding employment opportunities for local guides while fostering quality outfitting practices in the region.
